Tokyo Buffet in Indianapolis

Food us always pleasant. They have less selection of entrees as a lot of other buffets, but they have an excellent selection of sushi, as well. Drink service is quick & pleasant. They have quite a few dessert options including fruits.

Coming from a ”Southsider” - this is IMO the best Chinese buffet on the south side of Indy. We’ve been coming here for years! Good food and very friendly staff. The coconut shrimp is among my favorite and really good sushi for a buffet. Give it a try!

The best sushi in town don't go anywhere

For the price it was okay. The food wasn't fresh. All the flavored chicken was tough or too hard to even get a fork in. They kept up with some of the stuff but it wasn't worth going back to.

Really good food. Clean. Good music. Restaurant temperature was perfect. Nice and cool. We will be back.

Food was exceptional. Great crab rangoon and General Tso. Find this place and try the buffet. They also have sushi.

We used to love this place. Not any more. Everything was cold and gross and we have the feeling it was left over from lunch. We wont be back

Not a bad stop. Above average food and great service. My attendant would not let any of her table's drinks fall before mid line. And empty plates had no chance. Coconut shrimp and chicken was darn good for lack of a non offensive word. I don't think I had anything that wasn't good. Now that I think of it even the stuff I normally don't like. The food was good and warm. My daughter got to enjoy the sushi and u got to enjoy my bourbon chicken. Everyone was happy and full.

Awesome place for take out Chinese food. Order online, or by app. They make it hot and fresh. 20min and you can pick up your meal.

Tokyo Pop is top notch of the fair priced Asian buffets. They offer the usual assortment of dishes and also has a phenomenal array of sushi. I've been going to this place for years and have never really been let down. You can even order saki.

Dont waste your money! Food was cold, for the money very little choices, the chicken tasted freezer burnt. We left after tasting the food, refused to pay!!

Ok, this is definitely a massively Americanized Chinese buffet with no actual Chinese food of any kind, but, the people who run this place know how to cook and know how to cook for a large crowd. And, they're not afraid to make a fresh batch of something that's sat for a long time if it needs to be remade. That brings me to the sushi which is a collection of maki rolls and some random nigiri, but it's legitimately good and again, made fresh. For the money, the quality, the service, and the convenience, this is a top choice on the Southside.

Good food for the price. Good selection of sushi, but the regular buffet is the same as all the rest. They refresh the buffet often and every thing is hot.

Clean and a very plentiful selection to choose from. Sushi included in the buffet. Baby we had with us ate free.

The buffet was very good. There were plenty of options for anyone to have. They also had sushi which was also very good. They had a salad bar but it was lacking, it was little more than just lettuce, cheese, and dressing. They had a good selection of desserts including scoop ice cream in 4 flavors. If you are looking for a good Chinese buffet this is a good place to go.

It's a wonderful place! The staff is very friendly. I would recommend this for anyone who wants to have a good meal in a pleasant atmosphere!the food is always pretty good lots of different things to try and when your done get some hot apple pie and put some ice cream on top 😋

We liked it, but some food items were not warm enough. The wait staff was very pleasant and helpful. Atmosphere was nice and cozy.

This place is the best Asian buffet in Indy and I have been to alot of buffets. Sushi is on the buffet and they make it fresh during lunch and dinner. Best quality food for sure.

I visited this restaurant because locals were speaking very highly of this buffet. I thought I might just try it. I had the rice noodles, green beans and a small salad. I did expected the rice noodles to be hot as well as the green beans and I found both of them to be as cold as my salad. The people are very friendly but this is one place I will not visit again.

I don't know who in the heck would ever post that this Buffet have a wide variety of selection... clean are you kidding me... the sushi was so old and slimy it would cease to be rolled and it look like just a lump. Their whole Buffet consisted of too small areas with about six to eight dishes each that's including white and brown rice people... salad bar was very old and was not kept refrigerated at all all the salad dressings were sitting out and warm in the bottle.. I honestly can't believe that 413 people have reviewed this place and it still has a 3.8 rating out of five stars there's absolutely no way that. Can be possible those reviews have to be fake or the people reviewing it have to be totally oblivious.. the only regret that I have is after I left not reporting them to the Board of Health. If you decide to eat there I wish you the best I would put 911 on speed dial Js

I usually eat here about once a month. I love Chinese food and this place is a good buffet to go in and pig out. They don't have any shrimp on the lunch buffet and the calamari has some kind of spice on them that makes them simply too hot to eat. They have way too many chicken dishes on the line but you know that is you are coming back to eat there.

It is just "ok".The sushi is not as good as it used to be. The selection is not as good either. It was our go to for Asian food, but now there's better to be had.Service is good and friendly.

Small food selection...Food not fresh...Dirty from floor to ceiling...Beware of the lady who stands at the front of dining area with the diners bills layed out in a row with a calculator and calculates everything you eat...and what u don't eat...then brings the bill after your done eating..then you pay!!Worst sushi bar ever...first time experiencing HARD sushi...Would NEVER eat at this establishment again.

Just left ...hungry. All of the food was curated over it was so old. Had to remove gel off the top of the egg drop soup in the crock pot. Asked if they were going to make fresh. She said it was fresh. So gross.

Nice buffet with fresh food. You can also order from the menu to if you want something different from the buffet. Something I might say is I wish they had just vegetables in sauce on the buffet. I know a lot of people would like that, including me. Overall great place to eat.

Go here just about every Friday for lunch not expensive and really good

Nice place to stop in for unlimited sushi! Usually the food is hot and delicious. Went after 8 p.m. this time and may rethink that for the next visit.

I used to love this place, but the food gets worse every time I go. It's cheap but it's not even a good value anymore. You'll walk in to find ten kinds of cold, breaded chicken in sauce, and half the pans are usually empty and there's no vegetable at all. I miss what this place used to be. Don't be fooled by the "New" addendum on the sign - the same staff works here and the food is worse than before.
